With this online liberal arts degree, you will gain a breadth of knowledge in a variety of liberal arts topics including English, mathematics, public speaking and more. As a student of the associate of liberal arts program, you will complete 37 credit hours of Notre Dame College Online’s general education core curriculum. Designed to create a strong academic foundation, these courses cover a variety of topics and will help you prepare for a future in any professional field.
You will also have the freedom to select 26-29 credit hours of additional courses based on your interests, educational goals and professional aspirations. With these courses, you will have the opportunity to customize your degree to gain skills in topics that are relevant to you.

The online liberal arts degree from Notre Dame College Online allows you to choose courses from a variety of topics, so you can gain skills that are specific to your career goals. The program requires completion of 60 credit hours, 31-34 in our general education core curriculum and 26-29 elective hours.

Students applying for admission to the online A.A. in Liberal Studies program must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum 2.5 GPA

Students applying for admission to the online A.A. in Liberal Studies program must submit the following materials:
- A complete online application
- Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions, including high school. A GED score may be submitted if applicant does not have a high school diploma.*
* High school transcripts and GED score are not required for students transferring more than 12 credits.
