Notre Dame College now offers education programs online. The online programs cater to busy, working professionals who want to advance or pursue their careers in education. Notre Dame’s online programs include: Master of Education, Teacher Education Evening Licensure (TEEL), and Bachelor of Arts in Education. The program descriptions below will help you decide which program best fits your needs.

Master of Education (M.Ed.)

Notre Dame College offers a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree online. This program helps teachers achieve their academic and career goals from virtually anywhere. The online courses provide a learning environment in which students can collaborate and interact with their professors and peers as they would in on-campus courses. Notre Dame offers the following endorsements and licensures: Technology Facilitation Endorsement, Reading Endorsement, Mild to Moderate Intervention Specialist License (K-12) and Educational Leadership.

Teacher Education Evening Licensure (TEEL)

The TEEL program allows professionals to maintain their lifestyle and work schedule while preparing to become teachers. Notre Dame College created the evening licensure program for busy adults who already hold a bachelor’s degree or other advanced education credentials and seek licensure to teach in the state of Ohio. On average, students complete the TEEL program, including student teaching requirements, in 18 to 24 months. Students can apply previous coursework toward their licensure and can complete coursework for the TEEL program online or on campus.

Bachelor of Arts in Education

Notre Dame College has a long tradition of outstanding teacher preparation. In the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Education program, students learn how to apply practical, innovative learning techniques in their own classroom. Notre Dame’s accessible, committed faculty members work hard to meet the needs of online and on-campus students. The online bachelor’s degree in education program offers two licensures: Mild to Moderate Intervention Specialist (MMIS) and Early Childhood Education.
